The X-Files “Truths” Posters, Revised

I haven’t done much in the way of original design or illustration lately (read: zip, zilch, nada) but I’ve been looking at these posters, having recently curated a collection of X-Files fan art for my office, and I wanted to play with them a bit.

The original colors never set right with me, so I thought I’d try a different color scheme. I also tweaked the details while I was in there, since the Fight the Future poster in particular never felt quite finished.

I think I like these versions better, but I’ll come back to them in a few days to see if anything else jumps out at me.

(Updated with less pinkish colors, and I forgot I Want To Believe!)

X-Files Fan Art Posters: “Episodes” Series, pt. 6

I took some unexpected time off to deal with family stuff, and I’ve been re-watching the first half of season 1 on Netflix (in glorious HD), so I made some new posters this week.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t draw a poster for the Pilot, and I’ve had the ideas for all things for some time. Beyond the Sea is a new favorite episode; it didn’t appeal to me at first, but has grown on me after watching it a few times.

All of these are available in my Etsy shop!

The X-Files Fan Art Posters: “Episodes” Series, pt. 5

The Post-Modern Prometheus

I’m thrilled that The X-Files may return for a miniseries of sorts. The news inspired me to bring a few more of these to the finish line. I think my favorite of this group is The Post-Modern Prometheus.

X-Files Fan Art Posters: “Episodes” Series, pt. 3

More X-Files posters? Why, don’t mind if I do!

I’m favoring the sixth season for the visuals, and likely because it’s the first season I watched in its entirety as it aired. I still remember the excitement of waiting for Sunday night.
